How many of us knew what we wanted to do when we grew up? Embedded assessment and career exploration is mandatory in developing self-determination, especially so for students with special needs, to effectively plan transition, goals, and coach self-advocacy for reasonable accommodations in the workplace. This 45-minute session will support teachers and administration in understanding and implementing assessment to maintain special education compliance, supporting reasonable accommodations for access to the least restrictive environment/ competitive workplace, and meeting the needs of students with special needs.
